"Thanks to the NSW Government's Art Restart Program, we were able to fund artists and organisations to stage special creative events and activities as part of this years' SHINE program," said Kevin Williams, Director of Arts Mid North Coast.
The SHINE Micro Grants program supported 25 projects on the Mid North Coast, from Tea Gardens to Coffs Harbour and across different themes of Youth Arts, Creative Ageing and Heritage, as well as exciting new innovative events activating halls and public spaces.
"We know the pandemic has had a considerable impact on our sector, and SHINE puts the spotlight on how important our creative sector is in the social and economic recovery of our region", said Kevin.
"We encourage the community to support our artists and creative organisations by participating, engaging and enjoying the fantastic arts and cultural activities on offer!"
