The NSW Department of Education website has listed public schools, as well as non-government and Catholic schools that are currently closed across the State.
The department will continue to monitor conditions and keep school communities updated on their website. Click here for the full list.
Public schools on the Mid Coast listed among being closed for Monday are: Barrington Public School, Bobin Public School, Bulahdelah Central School, Bungwahl Public School, Chatham High School, Chatham Public School, Coolongolook Public School, Coopernook Public School, Cundletown Public School, Elands Public School, Hallidays Point Public School, Hannam Vale Public School, Harrington Public School, John's River Public School, Krambach Public School, Lansdowne Public School, Manning Gardens Public School, Mitchells Island Public School, Moorland Public School, Mount George Public School, Nabiac Public School, Old Bar Public School, Pacific Palms Public School, Stroud Public School, Stroud Road Public School, Taree High School, Taree Public School, Taree West Public School, Tinonee Public School, Upper Lansdowne Public School, Wingham Brush Public School, Wingham High School, Wingham Public School.
Non government schools closed are: Manning Adventist Bush School, Manning Valley Anglican College, Taree Christian College
Catholic schools (Maitland Newcastle Diocese): St Joseph's Primary School, Bulahdelah, St Joseph's Primary School, Gloucester, St Joseph's Primary School, Taree, St Clare's High School, Taree, St Joseph's Primary School, Wingham.
Manning Valley Anglican College has been acting as an evacuation centre and supporting families in need during the weather event.
All Eggins bus services were also cancelled on Monday due to the weather event.
