An 89 run partnership between David Rees and Mick Stinson headlined Wingham's Mid North Coast Cricket Premier League final round win over Port City Leagues Magpies at Laurieton Oval on Saturday.
The win knocked the Magpies out the race for a finals spot.
The Magpies won the toss and elected to bat, with Gordon Scott getting the side on the right foot with a 41 run stand with fellow opener Caleb Blanch.
Blanch fell for 10 and by the time Scott was caught and bowled by Michael Rees for 44, the side was well in control at 2/77.
Tim Rees soon started to play his part with the ball and dismissed Charles Adnum (38), Tim Parkins (7) and Phil McVicar (duck).
Zac Jones finished 36 not out for the side, smashing runs at a 160+ strike rate.
The Magpies set Wingham 149 for victory at the end of 40 overs.
Wingham started the reply in the worst possible way with Dennis Smith dismissed for a second ball duck.
Michael Rees steadied the ship with a solid 30 before he became Adam Broderick's first of three victims.
Hudson Bird and Ben Cole didn't hang around for long before David Rees and Stinson closed out the innings.
Elsewhere, Rovers sealed the minor premiership with a 22 run win over Port Pirates. Wauchope had the bye.
