The qualifier, which was to be held on Sunday February 21, has been transferred to Scone due to excessive rain in the Manning Valley.
On Friday, Racing NSW reported the Taree track was deemed unsuitable for racing and with continued wet weather on the way were left with no choice but to move the race day.
"Stewards have inspected multiple Mid North Coast tracks but were also deemed not suitable for racing with the forecast of wet weather also," the statement said.
Field sizes won't be changed while scratchings will stand.
The opening race of the day, the Class 1 Maiden Plate, was changed to 2100m.
