On Sunday, January 10, a 24-year-old Moree man was charged with domestic violence offences in Taree.
He was then granted conditional bail. As part of the conditions, the man was instructed to not approach the victim, unless through legal representatives, return to Moree and only return to Taree for court appointments.
About 9.45am on Thursday, January 14, officers attended a St Vincent Street home and spoke to the resident.
Officers were given permission to search the home and soon located the Moree man hiding in a bedroom cupboard.
The man was arrested and taken to Taree Police Station where he was charged.
