Free workshops across the Mid Coast in February and March have been designed to help groups and businesses write winning grant applications.
"Sometimes community organisations and businesses may overlook the opportunity to apply for grants, and a grant can really kickstart a project, or help bring a dream to life much quicker than would be possible otherwise," MidCoast Council growth, economic development and tourism manager, Deb Tuckerman said.
"If your group or business could benefit from a grant, book in now for a free concise and informative workshop to improve your chances of receiving a financial boost to complete a project," Ms Tuckerman said.
"Writing grant applications in most cases involves a lot of hard work.

"Attending the workshops will really help our local groups to focus attention on what is important and give themselves every chance of being successful."
The workshops will assist participants to identify funding opportunities, learn terms and jargon specific to grant applications and provide some tips to help you hone your ideas to produce a winning application.
The workshops, which will be led by Kerry Grace from regionally-based business, the Evolve Network, will focus on working alongside regional communities, not for profits, councils, Aboriginal corporations and community groups to create positive outcomes for the Mid Coast community.
"We're hoping that community groups and businesses, including those that were impacted by drought and bushfires will see the value and opportunity that attending a grant workshop can bring to their projects," Ms Tuckerman said.
Workshops will be held across the region, kicking off in Wingham on Wednesday, February 3, Gloucester the following day, Thursday, February 4, Tea Gardens on February 5 and Elands on Monday, March 1.
There will be a choice of day or evening workshops offered in Forster on March 2 and 3 and Taree on March 3 and 4.
