Mollyrose said the scholarship would allow her to relocate from Taree to Sydney and follow her goal of developing a career in technology, travel and tourism.
"I am honoured to be selected and looking forward to the practical internship," Mollyrose said.
"Employment opportunities in regional areas can be limited so this is a great opportunity and one I plan to make the most of."
ICMS has lifted the number of scholarships to total $2 million in response to challenges caused by the pandemic.
The college has responded by dramatically increasing the number of scholarships for school-leavers and offering accommodation bursaries for regional and interstate students.
"Despite the pressure on the higher education sector, we recognise many students and parents all over the country have had a tough year and we have taken the opportunity to respond by providing more scholarships especially as overseas students continue to be affected by travel," ICMS scholarship program chairperson, Ann Whitelock Courtney-O'Connor said.
"Many parents are facing an uncertain financial future and as a leading educational institution, it is our obligation to ensure motivated students can access tertiary education and a career."
In addition to the industry and ICMS scholarships, ICMS is offering students from regional and interstate areas an accommodation bursary for on campus accommodation in 2021.
ICMS has received a record number of domestic applications for next year. Places are limited so domestic students are encouraged to secure their place early to avoid disappointment.
