The largest child safety education and awareness day in the country, Day for Daniel honours the memory of Daniel Morcombe, who was abducted and killed on Queensland's Sunshine Coast in 2003.
On the day, students participated in fun, safe, age-appropriate events organised by year five and six students.
They also took part in class activities during the week that focussed on the Daniel Morcombe Foundation's key child protection and well-being messages of Recognise, React and Report.
