NSWRL chairman Dave Trodden will attend the afternoon session of the meeting.
Mr Bridge admits he's going into the meeting 'a bit in the dark' as to what changes, if any, will be introduced to this area by the NSWRL. This is the controlling body for rugby league in the State following the merger with the Country Rugby League two years ago.
Mr Bridge concedes this has been a difficult year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. No senior football was played in Groups Two or Three in 2020 although the Group Three junior league went ahead and included under 18s.
However, Mr Bridge was surprised to hear the regional director, Kevin Hill, has resigned. Mr Hill finish in the role on Sunday.
A new regional manager has been appointed and Mr Bridge expects he'll be introduced on Saturday.
"I found out that Kevin had resigned in a conversation with Jamie Moorehead from the Old Bar Pirates,'' Mr Bridge said.
"I then rang the Group Two president, Warren Gilkinson, and got the rest of the details. There was no correspondence from the NSWRL and our group and I don't think that's good enough.''
Mr Bridge said he is unaware if any changes to the structure of senior football on the North Coast will be outlined.
"We'd want to discuss any changes with our clubs to get their input,'' he said.
"But we've heard nothing from the NSWRL.''
Mr Bridge promised that he would bring the matter up with Mr Trodden while he has a number of other concerns he wants to outline.
He said he won't be standing for the position of regional chairman. Robin Harley from the Northern Rivers Regional Rugby League is the current chairman.
The regional chairman's role once included a spot on the Country Rugby League board of management, but this is no longer the case following the merger.
"Now all the chairman does is run two meetings a year,'' Mr Bridge said.
