This follows an announcement from the NSW Government that it will partner with Telstra to deliver a $328 million internet upgrade to 2000 public schools across NSW.
Originally scheduled for 2025, the upgrade has been brought forward three years and is set to be completed in 2022.
Member for Myall Lakes Stephen Bromhead said the upgrade would deliver faster, more reliable internet access and enhance digital teaching and learning opportunities.
"Our schools deserve the best tools for teaching and learning," Mr Bromhead said.
"Upgrading our school internet goes hand in hand with our focus on quality teaching and a new curriculum that will equip students for an increasingly digital world.
"Schools work incredibly hard and I'm pleased we can offer them the country's best tools, like fast internet, to support our students."
Minister for Education and Early Childhood Learning Sarah Mitchell said the upgrade would deliver NSW public schools faster internet than any other public education system in Australia.
"I want to ensure every child in NSW has the opportunities to be the best they can be, no matter where they live or what their circumstances may be," Ms Mitchell said.

Telstra Enterprise Group executive Michal Ebeid said the project would benefit NSW students into the future.
"We know that digital inclusion, particularly for students, is a lead indicator for future employment opportunities," he said.
"Once complete, Telstra will have rolled out more than 5200km of fibre across every corner of the State, making this one of the largest fibre networks in the world."
