This follows a one-off easing of COVID-10 restrictions.
Taree RSL Sub-branch will ensure COVID safe measures are strictly adhered to and when the target of 100 people is reached, people will be turned away.
Member for Myall Lakes Stephen Bromhead said the easing of restrictions for Remembrance Day means wreath laying ceremonies and other memorial services can take place with up to 100 people present, to pay their respects to those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
The one-off exemption to the Public Health Order increases the current restrictions from 20 people to 100 people, to gather at community war memorials, provided they adhere to social distancing measures and have a COVID-19 Safety Plan in place.
In the lead-up to Remembrance Day, Taree RSL Sub-branch members are out and about fundraising.
The sub-branch has merchandise available at stalls at three locations, Victoria Street near Centrepoint Arcade, or alternatively near Spotlight, and in Manning Street near the Reject Shop, from 9am to 1pm, over a series of dates - October 16 and 17, October 23 and 24, October 30 and 31, and November 6 and 7.
