A superb performance by Jordan Hardy in the defensive midfield position was among the highlights of what was a strong team effort by Town.
Hardy was a gain for the side this year when Tigers didn't field a team. She worked for the entirety of the encounter.
Abby Watts was another to shine for Town as was Tarni Walters.
Goal keeper Emily McGillicuddy kept Sharks in the contest by producing some outstanding saves.
Town started the game in dominating fashion, however, it was Sharks who opened the scoring. Town hit back with a fine goal to Walters. Midway through the third quarter Bree Pensini broke the deadlock for Town with a goal and the side had enough in reserve to claim the premiership.
Four sides contested the women's division one premiership this season.
