Youngsters were given education packs with all sorts of goodies, even a red fire hat, and these were well received, whilst adults were interested in the GPS mapping that was displayed on the large RSF screen showing their properties and where the fires pre-October 2019 and post-fires had gone through the area.
The need for fire permits came into force on September 1 and a number of these were issued and RFS checking will take place.
During Sunday morning's presentation, the brigade received a callout for assistance to a car accident on The Four Mile south of Taree.
Overall the weekend was well received and well done to all involved.
