The election will be carried out by open ballot (show of hands).
Cr Claire Pontin currently holds the position, having been elected in September 2019.
A report on the move to a central office at Biripi Way states the project is on budget and "tracking to program". Staff will move into the building, the former Masters site, in early January.
Council is taking steps to ensure a cafe is included in the new office, after its preferred tenant advised they could not proceed due to COVID-19. The tenant was to be responsible for fit-out of the cafe.
Council will now fit out the cafe to ensure it is delivered on time. "The cost of fitting out the café has now been included and the project remains on track to be delivered within the adopted budget," council's report say.
Also on the agenda are reports from the community recovery bushfire and the community inclusion and welbeing reference groups.
