The season starts on Saturday October 10. Last summer seven teams took part, including three from the Manning - Taree United, Wingham and Taree West. The premier league takes in first grade clubs from the Manning, Hastings and Macleay associations.
Wingham were declared the 2019/20 winners. The competition was called off the week the semi-finals were due to be played when Cricket NSW cancelled all cricket in the State because of the COVID-19 lockdown. Wingham finished minor premiers, so were declared premiers.
Mid North Coast Cricket Council chairman Paul Dilley said he is unsure if all seven teams would nominate for next season.
Mr Dilley said there will be strict COVID-19 protocols in place this season, as directed by Cricket NSW.
He said all clubs can apply for grants to help meet the costs of implementing the measures.
