There will be three prizes to be won. The first prize is a beautiful white swan statue with a number of real succulent plants on it back.
Tickets will be sold from 9am to 11am tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday outside the Lansdowne local shop and post office.
The prizes will be drawn at noon at Val's garden sale which will be held on Saturday, September 26 at 11 Central Lansdowne Road, Lansdowne from 8am to 1pm.
Because of the current restrictions the Lansdowne Public School has had no chance to fundraise so is very grateful to Val Archer for her donations and the opportunity to raise some much-needed funds.
Club competition winners
Larry Morcomb was this week's pool's competition winner at the Lansdowne Bowling and Recreation Club.
If you think you might have a chance at being a winner of the pool competition, just turn up and put your name down to have a go. It is held every Thursday evening at the club.
The Sunday social bowls is held every Sunday morning. This week's winners were John Garwood, Neil Alchin (Boo Boo), Mick Stanbury and Ted Gersbach.
The Lansdowne Men's Bowling Club has a social pairs tournament on Saturday, October 24. Entries are now full but go along and support the bowlers in this fun event.
If you are thinking of learning to play bowls, go and watch and see how the game is played.
All proceeds from the day will go towards the renovation of the green.
The Lansdowne Bowling and Recreation Club will hold its annual general meeting on Sunday, October 11 at 10am sharp. Members are requested to attend.
Another great day is planned at the club on Sunday, September 27 with live music playing on the green from noon.
Music will be provided by Barney Carl. Go along and enjoy some easy listening music with the spectacular views of the Lansdowne escarpment in the background. Strict COVID19 regulations will be in place.
Get Ready information packs at Coopernook
This year unfortunately due to COVID regulations the Coopernook Volunteer Rural Fire Brigade will not be hosting its annual Get Ready weekend event.
You can however pick up your Get Ready information packs at the post office.

Goodfellas at Upper Lansdowne
The Upper Lansdowne Hall has confirmed its next musical event with the "Goodfellas" held on Saturday, September 26 will be held outside the hall on the surrounding grass areas. The show will begin at 3.30pm.
If it rains, concert goers can split across two shows inside the hall - Concert 1 at 3.30pm and Concert 2 at 7pm.
If the forecast says rain is likely, organisers will advise the details of who attends which concert closer to the day.
The Goodfellas band is made up of a group of terrific musicians who just love to play music together.
