The book fair would normally be open in conjunction with the Hub markets at Taree Showground but as the markets are not proceeding, the club has decided to open the book fair as a standalone attraction.
Club members feel this will be a popular decision with regular supporters of the book fair who are eagerly anticipating it reopening.
"We take the opportunity to thank the public for the many book donations we have received," Rotarian Susan Bell said.
Taree North welcomes the assistance of members of Wingham Rotary at the book fair for the first time. It is hoped the book fair will become a shared project for the two clubs.
It is expected that the book fair will continue to open on the third Saturday of each month from 7.30am to 12.30pm.
There is a massive range of books, magazines, DVDs, CDs and jigsaw puzzles available at bargain prices.
Proceeds of the book fair go to local charities and Rotary projects worldwide.
The club has taken all necessary measures to adhere to COVID 19 health and safety requirements. Masks, gloves and sanitiser will be available, and visitors will be asked to sign in and comply with social distancing requirements.
The book fair will be at the Taree Showgrounds from 7.30am to 12.30pm on Saturday, September 19.
