The rain started the day before and entries in the pony club fun day were down slightly. The next day, heavy falls saw the cancellation of the grand parade.
But despite the wet, all the entertainment went ahead with good crowds attracted to the racing pigs, the reptile show, the Rooftop Express and other attractions.
Wet weather once again hampered proceedings in 2019. However, you wouldn't have seen anyone complain.
From horse riding events, the cattle show, sideshow alley and everything in between, the show had something for everyone.
The show was officially opened by life member Allan Drury. During the ceremony, he was awarded a Royal Agricultural Society medallion for his volunteer work.
On the day, Member for Myall Lakes Stephen Bromhead said the Taree Show is a cornerstone of the Manning and will be an annual tradition for years to come.
