The awards show was brimming with the glamourous, and sometimes wacky, attires it was renowned for.
The majority of photos haven't been viewed by the public until now and were digitally modified by Times photographer Scott Calvin.
The event was established in 1995 by coordinator Aggie McClutchey. A modelling competition held in 1994 provided the talent for the Flair debut.
One of the models, Wingham's Britt Carlyle, went on to become an international model.
In the early days, Flair was held at the Taree RSL Club (when it was on Pulteney Street) before a move to the Winning Post Function Centre at the Taree racecourse.
About 75 per cent of Flair's entries came from TAFE students.
Economic, cultural and education funding caused the annual show to end its 19 year run in 2013.
