It is a disappointing outcome for the management of the tavern, their patrons and members of the Old Bar Beach RSL Sub-branch, who were to be beneficiaries.
This event was to coincide with VP Day (Victory in the Pacific), being one of only a few days of the year that two-up is legal in NSW.
November 11 is Remembrance Day and Old Bar sub-branch is hoping to be able to have a ceremony marking this important day and what form it will take will be decided at the next meeting and of course, may be affected by COVID-19 restrictions.
The Saturday morning meat raffles are continuing with good support, now on the sunny side of the street, outside Old Bar Gourmet Meats, where the prizes are on display.
