Rain started as the first riders set out and numbers were down due to some juniors being involved in Hunter Junior Tour.
"Despite the wet conditions two riders managed to beat last year's best time of 30:03,'' club secretary Peter McKay reports.
The tour will conclude with a road race on Saturday.
