The Rovers now have one win from two matches this season. In the first round Rovers struggled to come to terms with the four quarter format required in junior league this year under COVID-19 guidelines.
However, they produced some good free flowing football against Lake Cathie.
Five-eighth Connor Latham was sharp in attack for Rovers, running in two tries in a player of the match performance.
Skipper Blair Hamilton was strong while Ty Wallace continues to improve.
Saturday's game against the Sharks will be played at Wood Street, Port Macquarie.
