General manager Adrian Panuccio said the plan and budget will be considered at the meeting, which starts at 1pm, after the community feedback period ended last week.
"Council received 10 formal submissions relating to the draft operational plan and budget and as a result we've made several modifications to the actions and performance measures in the plan," Mr Panuccio said.
The strategic committee meeting will follow at 2pm. Here council's draft local strategic planning statement will be considered.
The statement sets out a 20 year vision for land use and outlines the special character and values that are to be preserved and how changes will be managed in the future.
It will then be placed on exhibition for community feedback prior to its adoption.
Both meetings will be livestreamed via council's website.
