The zone's fours and triples championships were decided in January and February before the COVID-19 lockdown. This leaves the singles, pairs and champion of club champion events to be played at zone-level.
"There's hardly been a bowl sent down in anger since March 15,'' zone secretary Bruce Elliott said.
"But the clubs are now starting to get their remaining championships organised.''
Bowlers are also rolling up although there is a restriction on the number of players who can be on the green. The zone open, president's reserve and senior pairs will start on August 1. This is scheduled to run until August 8.
Singles, in the same three categories, begin on August 22 and must be finalised by September 5. Champion of club champion singles and pairs will be decided in September. Winners of all zone events qualify for the State finals to be held from October 9 to 18 at venues to be announced.

The State champion of club champions finals will be in November.
However, there was little enthusiasm around to State to play pennants after the lockdown, Mr Elliott said.
"The majority of the State's 16 zones voted to scratch pennants for this year.''
He said it would have been a 'nightmare' trying to schedule the remainder of the pennant season into the last six months of the year.
