The Lansdowne Community Hall managers are applying for a Crown Lands Reserves Improving Funding grant to extend the concrete path to two metres wide with a patio style cover along the length of the roadside of the hall.

If they are lucky enough to receive this grant it would mean that people would be able to sit outside under a covered area.
Fishing club outing
The Lansdowne fishing club's first outing for July is this weekend, the 4th and 5th, with weigh in at the Lansdowne Bowling and Recreation Club on Sunday from 2pm.
The target species are salmon and tarwhine, which will give the members double points for these species.
The fishing club's fundraising seafood raffles are now back. The next will be held on Saturday, July 11. There will be 10 seafood trays, 10 meat trays and their supporters' tray.
Resilience NSW team visits Upper Lansdowne
Resilience NSW will be at the Upper Lansdowne Memorial Hall on Monday, July 6 from 9am to noon.
They intend to bring a number of groups with them including The Red Cross, Samaritans, Department of Primary Industries etc.
They will be available to discuss support for anyone who has been affected by the bushfires. There are new grants including some for fencing available
So, it is worth going along to hear if you can benefit.
