FIVE teams will start in the Football Mid North Coast Zone Premier League (ZPL) to kick off on Saturday.
Wallis Lake, Tuncurry-Forster, Wingham, Camden Haven and Port United will contest the inaugural ZPL.
This will be a one grade competition.
Seven sides originally nominated. However, Taree withdrew after successfully making a late application to join the Coastal Premier League (CPL), while Wauchope pulled out citing a lack of players.
Wallis Lake, Tuncurry-Forster and Camden Haven all played in the Football Mid North Coast Premier League in 2019. Wingham won the Football Mid North Coast Southern League while Port United played in the Northern League. Port United will also be represented in the Coastal Premier League, which also kicks off on Saturday.
Team numbers for the ZPL were only confirmed this week, FMNC chairman Mike Parsons said.
Mr Parsons added that Lake Cathie, Port Saints and Wauchope have indicated their intention to play in the ZPL in 2021.
All of Football Mid North Coast competitions start this weekend.
