That sounds pretty good doesn't it?
Budding entrepreneur Kyle Brown wants this to become a reality for the Taree community and a plethora of tourists through the Figtrees on the Manning precinct.
When the time comes for business ventures to start construction in the precinct, Kyle plans on opening a microbrewery.
"As soon as we heard this (Figtrees on the Manning) was getting back underway we went and had a chat to the developers about whether we might be able to start up a microbrewery," Kyle explained.
"A new and fresh venue for Taree is something that it's been crying out for so it's not just going to be about brewing the beer here, we'll be about providing a big function room and somewhere for people to come and enjoy the river.
"There's plenty of options in Taree but there's nothing that really celebrates our river the way it deserves to be celebrated."
Kyle worked for a few years in the Hunter Valley and saw firsthand how popular microbreweries had become.
"I saw the tourism dollars that it provided to that area, Cessnock being a similar socio-economic town to Taree," Kyle said.
"It's something Taree has lacked but has been the perfect spot to do, it's on that trip between Sydney and Brisbane.
"It's the perfect distance between Sydney to stop and have a break from the car, grab some lunch and continue north."

It's certainly an industry still on the rise.
"It's definitely a growth industry at the moment so we're hoping we can tap into that and provide some good jobs for Taree," Kyle said.
