A 16-year-old male has been granted conditional bail after he allegedly stabbed a 22-year-old man during an altercation at Taree on Saturday, June 13.

It is alleged the teenager stabbed the 22-year-old three times in the back and once in the back of the leg after a disagreement turned physical at a Taree address at around 1am.
Officers from the Manning-Great Lakes Police District arrested the teen at 1:30pm that day, executing a search warrant at his residential address and seizing a number of items in connection with the offence.
He was charged and refused bail by police.

The teenager then attended court and was granted conditional bail with strict behavioural restrictions.
He is due to attend Taree Children's Court on Tuesday, June 16.
The 22-year-old man was treated at hospital and later released.
