A man and woman have been charged after allegedly recruiting a teenager to break, enter and steal property from a home in Upper Lansdowne earlier this year.

The break and enter was alleged to have occurred sometime between Sunday, March 15 and Wednesday, March 18.
Following investigations by officers from the Manning-Great Lakes Police District, police will allege that a 38-year-old man recruited a 14-year-old boy to break into the home and steal multiple items.
Further to this, police will allege the man and a 37-year-old woman - who was known to him - then claimed insurance for the stolen items.

Following extensive enquiries, the 38-year-old man was arrested at an Upper Lansdowne property on Wednesday, June 10.
He was taken to Taree Police Station and charged with dishonestly obtain financial advantage by deception and recruit child to carry out/assist criminal activity.
Later that day, the 37-year-old woman attended Taree Police Station and was subsequently arrested.
The man was refused bail and faced Port Macquarie Local Court yesterday, June 11, where he was granted conditional bail to face Taree Local Court on Tuesday, July 21.
The woman was charged with hinder investigation serious indictable offence of other and was granted conditional bail to appear at Taree Local Court on Tuesday, August 4.
