"We were saddened to have had to restrict the admission to the Ark for so long. But it was for everyone's safety," Aussie Ark president Tim Faulkner said.
The organisation had to close its doors to the public due to government restrictions following the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus.
In wake of the easement of government restrictions, Aussie Ark has decided to resume Devils in the Wild tours as well as hosting visitors at Devils Retreat, the organisation's overnight accommodation located just 10 kilometres from Aussie Ark's facility.
Aussie Ark provides a rare insight into its on-the-ground conservation initiatives.
"A visit to the Ark is a great way to learn about our seven flagship species with keepers who are dedicated to the survival of these species," Mr Faulkner said.
The facility has attracted visitors from around the world. The Ark offers visitors a chance to learn about some of Australia's endangered species in the gorgeous grassland and forests of the Barrington Tops.
The Ark's facility allows visitors to connect with nature. In addition, by being outdoors, the Ark is at low-risk. Visitors are therefore able to enjoy their experience without having to worry about health related repercussions.
