Times photographer Scott Calvin visited different areas of the Mid Coast that were impacted by horrific bushfires in November last year.
He returned in May to see if the landscape had improved over time.
The results are pleasing to see.
In towns such as Old Bar, Wallabi Point, Bobin and Marlee, some of the blacked out and broken road signs remain but the barren smoldering wasteland has been replaced by rejuvenated green grass, trees and leaves.
Decent rainfall in the first five months of year has certainly contributed to the revival of local flora.
MidCoast Council's Rob Scott told the Times earlier this week Bootawa Dam is at full capacity and water restrictions are unlikely this summer.
