The march towards the colder months continues as the Manning faces a cool, windy and wet weekend.
Friday is expected to be mostly sunny with little chance of showers, but strong south-westerly winds should keep the temperature relatively low, with 8-18 predicted.
Saturday will again see strong winds and mostly sunny conditions, but there is the chance of 1-5mm of rain throughout the day. The temperature should range between 8-20.

Sunday could see heavy showers across the Manning, with 10-20mm predicted. Strong south-westerly winds will again be a feature and the temperature is tipped to range from 9-18.
There is a strong wind warning and hazardous surf warning current for the Mid North Coast.
Taree has received a total of 22.4mm of rain this month, with the wettest day coming on Sunday, May 17 when 8.8mm fell.
