The inaugural round at Bulahdelah was set to be held on August 22 alongside races in the Hyundai Rally Series and Clubman Rally Series.
The State title will now be contested over five rounds, starting in Batemans Bay on July 4.
The closest Mid Coast racing fans will get to live action will be at Coffs Harbour on November 28. This will be the final round of the championship.
The 2020 championship will be dependent on approval from the NSW government. The issue is being addressed by Motorsport Australia.
Competitors and organisers will be subject to any coronavirus requirements or restrictions if the season goes ahead.
