The large concrete water tank has had a major facelift with a brilliant colourful painted design covering it.
The playground equipment has also had a cover erected over it which means the children can make better use of the equipment in both the hot weather and now also the in the wet weather.
Upper Lansdowne hall concerts
As the Upper Lansdowne hall committee do not know exactly how or when the government will relax the lockdown regulations, the committee obviously at the present time cannot have concerts in the hall.
However because the lead time to organise them is typically three to six plus months for Australian acts and up to 12 months for international groups, they are continuing to organise shows in the hope that by the time it gets to the scheduled dates it's going to be possible to go ahead. If not, they will cancel and rearrange.
With travel restrictions, it is doubtful that there will be any international acts touring this year, so all acts scheduled at the present time are Australian and they will be starting off the season with their favourite bad boys "19 Twenty".
Scheduled is on Saturday, August 29, 19 Twenty; on Saturday, September 26, The Goodfellas (Matt Zarb, Mark Oats and friends) and on Saturday, October 24, The Swamp Stompers.
For bookings phone Rita on 02 5591 6017.
