At 8.40am on Friday, May 8, Manning Great Lakes Police District officers were patrolling Edinburgh Drive in Taree and had cause to stop a vehicle.
While speaking to the occupants, police immediately recognised a 22-year-old Taree man seated in the vehicle was breaching bail conditions.
He was arrested and charged at Taree Police Station.
Meanwhile, officers arrested a Forster man in relation to first instance warrants.
At 12.10am on Sunday, May 10, a 45-year-old Forster man was seen by police walking from a South Street address.
Police immediately recognised him and order him to stop. The man then ran away and jumped over a fence into a yard. He then attempted to scale another fence but failed to do so.
The man turned and advanced towards police. Fearing a violent confrontation was going to occur, police again order the man to stop.
He continued to advance towards police and was warned to stop or a taser would be deployed.
The man didn't heed the warning so a taser was used.
The man was arrested and charged at Forster Police Station. He now has to serve the balance of his intensive correction order of 11 months and six days.
