A 29-year-old Taree woman was charged by officers from Manning-Great Lakes Police District in Wingham over the weekend.

Police were patrolling Queen Street at around 5:45pm on Saturday, May 2 when they pulled over a blue Holden Commodore and conducted a breath test.
The driver returned a negative result, however, when police spoke to the front seat passenger, she supplied numerous differing versions of her name.

Her identity was eventually established and checks revealed that she had two outstanding first instance warrants.
Police searched the woman, and in the process of the search she was seen to drop a clear resealable bag containing methyl-amphetamines.
Police then charged the woman.
