Anzac Day commemorations draw thousands of people annually to the Taree War Memorial to pay respects to fallen soldiers and reflect on the landing at Gallipoli on April 25, 1915.

Things are going to be a bit different this year.
With the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, all services and marches have been cancelled.
The public is encouraged instead to stand on their driveways and face east at 6am to show support.
A commemorative service from the Australian War Memorial will also be streamed live from 5.30am on ABC.
