The temperature in the outside waters have been 21 to 20 degrees and the Spanish mackerel have disappeared. They like it much warmer than that.
Mac tuna don't mind the change in temperature and are being boated. Not many other species of fish have come in from outside.
On the beaches tailor have been caught on pichards and lures. Bream are also about and are taking worms, pippies and yabbies.
Good whiting have been caught in the mouth of the river.
Flathead catches have been down this week and the flathead have made their way upstream.
Bream and luderick catches have also been small, reports from the past week indicate.
Anglers will be hoping the fish bite better when the full moon gets closer.
