I am concerned that residents in the Forster area are taking a very blaise attitude towards stopping the spread of COVID-19.

My elderly parents and sick brother live in Forster and are in the high risk category.
I have heard lots of stories about locals that are supposed to be in self-isolation but are instead out and about mixing with the public.
Also, the attitude of elderly residents is also a concern, they just don't get how serious this is.
Data released by NSW Health on March 30 showed that there are cases of locally acquired COVID-19 in Forster with no known source of infection.
That means there are many more people walking around with the virus and are unaware. This is very dangerous.
Can you please raise the awareness of residents of the immediate local issues (case numbers) and associated risks.
Furthermore, people need to be reminded that the virus affects all ages, including my 37 year old friend in Hawaii currently on life support with the virus.
