The Probus Club of Taree North had its annual general meeting on March 18 at Club West where there were representatives from all neighbouring Probus clubs.

President Kerry Lowe was delighted to induct two new members at the regular meeting following the AGM. All members present welcomed them with applause, looking forward to their betterment of the club.
At the general meeting the president moved that the April meeting be cancelled due to the coronavirus. Future meetings will be reviewed depending on health advice.
Following a short break for morning tea and the presentation of annual reports, Ian Woollard from Taree Rotary Club conducted the election of the incoming committee to run the club for the next year. Ian presented incoming president Kerry Lowe with her presidential collar.
Office bearers include vice presidents Ivan Ransom and Allan Richards, secretary Lyn Lapham, treasurer Beryl Beeton, plus eight committee members.
The club will continue to meet on the third Wednesday of the month in the Chatham Uniting Church hall, when allowed to hold meetings again.
