Just after noon on Thursday (February 27), the Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called to a property in Booral after reports that a woman had been kicked by horse on a rural property.
It's reported the 54-year-old was suffering from serious chest and pelvic injuries.
She was treated on scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics prior to the arrival of the helicopter's Critical Care Medical Team.
The woman was stabilised before being transported to the John Hunter Hospital, Newcastle in a serious but stable condition.
