MidCoast Council will work with bus companies to potentially adjust public transport schedules so residents can access the new administration building at Taree South.

While the council will need to provide a shuttle service to transport residents from the Taree CBD to the site on ordinary meeting days as a condition of the DA approval, a bus service to and from other areas such as Forster and Gloucester won't be considered.
"Ordinary council meetings have been held in Taree on a large number of occasions over the past three years," a MidCoast Council statement said.
Once the move is complete it would up to councillors, rather than administration, to decide if meetings will be held at other locations such as Forster and Gloucester.
