All are well know names of British motorcycles manufactured from the early 1920s to the late 1960s.
Britain was the centre of motorcycle manufacturing in those years and was an important exporter to all parts of the world.
Unfortunately complacency by the designers of these makes allowed the European and Asian countries access to this extensive trade and forced manufacturing by British firms into oblivion in the 1970s.
A couple of makes have been resurrected and can be seen on roads today.
Be that as it may, many examples of the original British makes do exist to this day, albeit restored to former glory.
And if you have the slightest interest in old motorcycles, and who hasn't, I have the venue for you to observe some magnificent examples.
The 31st annual Taree and district will be held from the Happy Hallidays holiday park at Hallidays Point, where these machines may be viewed. The dates of the rally at March 5 to 8.
If you miss them at Hallidays Point, locally they will be at the Tuncurry rock pool for a catch-up stop on Saturday, March 7 from 10am and you will have the opportunity to see and hear these makes of yesteryear in all their glory.
So March 5 to 8 is your golden opportunity to appreciate vintage and post vintage machines in this area or on our roads. Don't miss your opportunity.
