Music from Quebec
The Upper Lansdowne Hall committee is hoping that the community will go along and help celebrate the hall's 95th birthday on Friday, February 21 at 7pm with É.T.É with their "lively and lovely music from Québec".
É.T.É offer a very dynamic and modern vision of Québec traditional music with musical arrangements that are shaded with influences of folk, progressive rock and classical music interpreted on fiddle, Irish bouzouki and cello.
They've won a nice selection of awards since they came together and Élisabeth Moquin adds extra colour to the group's appeal through her masterful step dancing.
As usual, tasty, home-made food, tea and coffee are available in the hall, but feel free to BYO drinks and nibbles.
For bookings and payment details please phone Rita on 02 5591 6017
Upcoming concerts: The Swamp Stompers Friday, March 20 7pm and Moishe's Bagel (Scotland) Friday, April 3 at 7pm.
