Reigning Taree Showgirl Gabby Wyse and Wingham Showgirl Claudia Greenaway missed out on a spot in the 2020 State showgirl final at the Sydney Royal Easter Show. This follows the zone one final, held in Taree last Saturday.

Wauchope Showgirl Kimberley Tout and Bangalow Showgirl Lily Harrison were selected by judges Lucy Kinbacher, David Williams and Ellie O'Hara to advance in the competition.
Although disappointed, Gabby was pleased with her entry and proud that Taree hosted the zone final.
"I felt like I nailed the interviews," Gabby said confidently.
"It was a great night, we had 160 people attend from the 12 different show societies and representatives from Next Generation (branch of the Agricultural Societies Council)."
It was a competitive day of judging, with all entrants acknowledged for their community involvement and life goals. Other showgirls came from areas such as Kempsey, Coffs Harbour and Grafton.
