AN unbeaten century to Damon Minett paved the way for Old Bar to score a comfortable win over Taree West in the Manning Cricket second grade match played at Taree Recreation Centre.

Minett remained not out on 105 as Old Bar compiled an imposing 3/253 from their 40 overs. He hit six boundaries and received great support from opening batsman Luke Earley, who made 60.
Tom Kelly retired on 36.
Taree West managed a respectable 5/202 in reply with Jacob Dack top scoring with a big hitting 61. This included six boundaries and a six. Will Gregory scored 37 and Jamil Ahmad 34.
Old Bar now has 33 points, equal with Great Lakes and Gloucester on top of the ladder, however, Old Bar is third on percentages.
Taree West are last, but only three points adrift of fourth placed Wingham, the defending premiers.
