The formal ceremony begins at 8.30am.
Other community organised ceremonies and activities will be held as well:
Taree- Breakfast, ceremony and entertainment in Queen Elizabeth Park, 8.30am to 11.30am
Wingham- Breakfast, ceremony and presentations at Central Park from 7.30am. Activities will be moved to Wingham Town Hall if there is rain.
Harrington- Sausage sizzle, flag raising ceremony and presentations from 8am at the function centre opposite the library.
Old Bar- Breakfast and ceremony from 7am at Old Bar Park. Activities from noon at Old Bar Tavern.
Hallidays Point- Breakfast from 7am before ceremony at 8am at Black Head Beach (near the pool)
Tuncurry- Activities at The Sporties from 4pm
Bulahdelah- Activities at the Courthouse Museum from 5pm
Coomba Park- CoombaFest at the foreshore from 8.30am
Gloucester- Ceremony and activities in Billabong Park from 8am. The ceremony will be moved to Gloucester Recreation Centre if there is rain.
North Arm Cove- Sausage sizzle at Heros Beach from noon
Tea Gardens/Hawks Nest- Breakfast, ceremony, presentations and activities in Moira Parade Park from 8am
Friday
- Science on the Move, 11am to noon at Harrington Library. For children five years and older
Saturday
- Nabiac farmers market, 8am to noon at Nabiac Showground
- Tuncurry markets, 8am to 1pm at John Wright Park
- The Forgotten Works of Pixie O'Harris official opening, from 2pm at Manning Regional Art Gallery. Free entry.
Sunday
- Old Bar markets, 9am to 2pm at Old Bar Reserve
- Pacific Palms markets, 9am to 1pm at Pacific Palms Community Centre
- Australia Day Vintage and Classic Car Display, 9am to 2pm at Wylie Breckenridge Park. Free entry.
- Australia Day convoy, leaves Wingham after the Australia Day ceremony and arrives at Taree Rescue Squad headquarters. Fundraising event to follow.
