A man was injured when a large pine tree crashed through his house at Harrington on Monday, January 20.

The 65-year-old man was pinned by the tree, a Norfolk pine, which fell during a violent thunderstorm.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called to the property in Beach Street at 5.30pm Monday.
It is believed the 65 year old was standing behind a glass door looking outside when the tree crashed through the house, pinning him under the damaged house and debris. He suffered multiple injuries.
ASNSW Paramedics treated the man on scene before the Helicopter Critical Care Medical Team further stabilised him. He was airlifted to the John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition.
State Emergency Services volunteers attended the scene.
Mid North Coast State Emergency Service attended several callouts, including to Harrington and Stroud.
