This was made clear during the Christmas/ New Year period when the crews was called out to a number of incidents.
Just after 10pm on Friday, December 27, the rescue squad attended a motor vehicle accident on the Pacific Highway near Croki. Operators provided lighting for emergency services and a quick extrication of the injured passengers.
The two occupants of the vehicle were transported to Port Macquarie Hospital.
On Sunday, December 29, the crew assisted an ambulance in Elands. Just after 11pm, operators help secure an injured male patient into a stokes litter and carried him about 700 metres out of bushland.
He was then transported by ambulance to hospital.
At about 11.20pm on Friday, January 2, the crew attended a motor vehicle accident at Mooral Creek.
They provided scene lighting, vehicle stabilisation and isolation of the vehicle's electrical systems before the two occupants of the vehicle were removed.
The stokes litter was used to carry the injured passengers to an ambulance due to the terrain.
Just before 8.30am on Sunday, January 12, the squad was called to Killabakh to help a cow stuck in a dam.
On arrival, the cow had removed itself from the dam. Operators ensured the cow was safe before leaving.
At 12.35pm the same day, the crew attended a motor vehicle accident involving a quad bike at Kimbriki.
General assistance and support was provided to the patient. Paramedics then transported the patient to the Westpac Rescue Helicopter for hospital transfer.
At 9.30pm, the crew was called to assist a person stuck in a bathroom. After a quick assessment of the situation, the door to the bathroom was opened.
According to the rescue squad, the person was in good spirits after being released.
