Who knows what the situation will be like over that time frame?
What is needed is action in the short term. Why is MidCoast Water not doing more to reuse waste water? Why can't we recycle and reuse this scarce resource more fully?
I understand some is currently happening and is used for agricultural purposes, but there is no reason why it cannot be carefully treated and used for human consumption. This is the practice in many parts of the world.
It seems to me that this needs to be the focus in the reuse of what we currently have not some future 'pipe dream'.
